Headlight restoration is the process of removing the oxidized, cloudy, yellowed, or faded top failed plastic layer of the headlights. This restores the clarity of the plastic and brightness of the lights again. Over time, headlights can become dull due to oxidation, uv rays & environmental exposure. Restoration involves dry & wet sanding the failed plastic top layer using a variety of different grits to fresh plastic underneath this failed layer then polishing them using a combination of compounds, polishes and different polisher pads to refine the sand marks and bring back the clarity. Finally we finish the service off by applying paint protection film (ppf) and a ceramic coating on top to protect them for years to come and help prevent this from happening again. This service improves both the appearance of the vehicle and the effectiveness of the headlights for safer driving especially at night, in the rain or fog.
